Fuel Off Road Wheels Buyer’s Guide
It seems like the most difficult part about choosing new Fuel wheels is picking the perfect finish and style and size. Yet, it’ll be even more difficult to fit those sexy beasts to your Sports Utility Vehicle, Jeep, or truck if your new Fuel off road wheels have got the wrong offset, pitch circle diameter (PCD), or other technical specifications. At DH Wheels, our focus is on ensuring that you will not only have the hottest Fuel wheels but that they’re perfectly matched to the specs of your vehicle. After all, your new rims will be a lot more enjoyable on your ride than sitting on a garage shelf, don’t you think?

Fuel Rims 101:
Offset is the position of the back of the wheel (aka: hubspace) relative to its distance from the wheel’s center line. Commonly seen as the abbreviation “ET” – Einpresstiefe; German for “Insertion Depth” – which is typically stamped directly onto the wheel itself.
Positive (forward of center), Zero (centered), and Negative (behind the center) are the most common offset positions you’ll find on the market.
Specialist Advice: Always verify the specs of your vehicle before purchasing your new fuel wheels. If you’ve had any custom body work done, it’s important to have a professional double check your offset. The wrong offset can cause serious, potentially dangerous, problems for you and your high performance vehicle.
Pitch Circle Diameter (PCD) can be described as the imaginary circle that runs through the center of every bolt hole. Like offset, PCD must be matched to your vehicle’s standard PCD specifications to ensure safe and optimal performance.
One Piece Fuel wheels are manufactured by using a single mold to produce one solid wheel.
Two Piece and Dually Fuel wheels are manufactured by using two molds – center and outer – to produce two individual parts that are bolted together after finishes have been applied.
Deep Lip Fuel wheels are manufactured with an extreme offset that is meant for use on performance vehicles with an equally extreme aftermarket lift kit.
Specialist Advice: Check, double check, and recheck your vehicle’s specifications before purchasing these epic wheels. Especially if any custom work has been done.
Forged Fuel wheels have been machined from 6061 T-6 Forged Aluminum Mono Blocks. What makes these rims unique is that every Forged order is custom made to your baby’s exact specs to ensure a perfect fit.
Fuel wheels are some of the best on the market. Each one is made to order. While this makes for some high quality, badass wheels, it also means you have to wait to receive your order. Each order takes approximately 4 – 6 weeks for delivery. It’s a small price to pay for perfection.
